Key Features
- Direct and wrap printing — print straight onto coated board or onto a separate sheet that wraps the rigid structure.
- Full-color and spot-color runs, matched to Pantone for exact brand color.
- Premium finishing stacked together — foil, emboss, and spot UV can all sit on the same panel.
- Interior printing available, so the reveal inside the lid carries branding too.
- In-house coordination between print and dieline, so color and structure are proofed together, not separately.
- Free plate and die setup, even on short-run orders.
Direct Print vs. Wrap Print
A rigid box doesn’t take ink the way a folding carton does — the greyboard core is too thick for standard press feeding. Two approaches solve this: printing directly onto pre-laminated coated board before it’s assembled, or printing onto a separate sheet of paper that’s then wrapped around the finished rigid structure. Wrap printing opens up textured, metallic, and specialty stocks that direct printing can’t use; direct printing is faster and often more economical for straightforward CMYK jobs.
Finishing Techniques
Lamination
Matte for a soft, non-reflective look, gloss for saturated color and shine, or soft-touch for a velvet feel under the hand.
Foil Stamping & Embossing
Foil in gold, silver, rose gold, or custom colors adds a metallic accent to a logo or pattern. Embossing raises the design, debossing presses it in — both work well combined with foil for a layered, tactile effect.
Spot UV & AQ Coating
Spot UV adds a glossy highlight over specific elements against a matte background. AQ coating is a fast, economical clear seal for boxes that need light protection without a full lamination.
